Get inspired and enhance your rhythmical imagination! Rhythm inspiration is a coaching project by Wolfram Winkel and Stephan Maass - two percussionists from two different musical worlds - from classical and from pop/jazz. After many evenings spent discussing music, percussion, rhythm, sound, groove, pulse, texture and much else besides, we had the idea to bundle our combined knowledge and experience into this project. Our intention was to illuminate the field of rhythm from different perspectives, thereby unfolding and strengthening the reader's rhythmic potential. We wanted to take into account different aspects from the two worlds, with the aim of both inspiring and having fun in the process!
"Stephan Maass has a mind of his own - thank god - a master musician."
